Founder & CEO

Melissa founded Humming Host in 2021 with the vision of bringing the Hospitality expertise from 10+ years spent in Lifestyle hotel brands, to the Short term Rental Industry, while minimizing our carbon footprint. Humming Host combines operational excellence with meaningful guest experiences. With extensive experience in short-term rental management, hospitality operations, and business development, she has built Humming Host into a trusted partner for owners and investors seeking hands-on, high-quality management.

Tammy

Bookkeeper

Born and raised in Tennessee, Tammy supports Humming Host through accounting operations and administrative coordination. She assists with team member onboarding, accounts payable and receivable, tax and license compliance, trust accounting, and owner support for all accounting-related questions.

Luke

Revenue Manager

Originally from Texas, Luke is a former football player from Indiana University who brings both discipline and an analytical mindset to revenue management. As a host, owner, and investor in short-term rentals himself, he understands the industry from multiple perspectives.

Luke joined Humming Host as Revenue Manager at the beginning of 2025 and has played a key role in optimizing portfolio performance and revenue growth.

Laura

General Manager

Laura studied law in Texas before building her career in luxury hospitality as a Spa Operations Manager at The Ritz-Carlton in Hawaii. She later moved to Nashville with her husband, who serves in the military.

As a mother of twins and a natural leader, Laura brings structure, operational excellence, team leadership, and elevated guest service standards to Humming Host.
