The Decision
Why they chose Humming Host.
Before we teamed up with Humming Host and Melissa and her team, things were a little rocky at best with the previous property manager. We are kind of a hands-off owner. We really rely on a on a property manager to treat our condo as it was their own. We went through some of the guest reviews, and we noticed that on multiple occasions, the guest kind of pointed out the lack of communication and the slow responsiveness of the property manager in addressing some of the issues as they arose during their stay. Also, some guests highlighted that the condo wasn't really clean. They found towels, dirty towels in the bathroom. So that was very frustrating for us because we really take a lot of pride in providing a stellar experience to our guests. And that's what we knew that we need a new partner. We needed to find a property manager who would really take care of our condo as if it were their own. We needed somebody that was more responsive, better communication, and really better client oriented. And that's where we decided to engage with Humming Host. And, boy, we couldn't have picked a better partner.
Onboarding
Once Humming Host took over, it was really night and day across the board. One of the things that really blew me away is Humming Hosts attention to detail. The few times that I visit the condo, the property always looks immaculate, spotless, very, very clean, with a great atmosphere. They leave the light on. The TV is on with a nice welcome page. It’s very welcoming. I have to say one of the things that was a cause of a major headache with the previous property manager was maintenance. And now it has become a non-issue with having Humming Host. If a minor issue arises, they handle it very, very quickly, and I don't even notice. When I visit the condo, I don't even know. They really handle every minor issue promptly, and it really allows me to be to be hands off. The communication is another great point. They're very responsive to me, but they're very responsive with the guests too. And that shows in the reviews. The reviews since Humming Host took over are fantastic. Five stars across the board. And guests often point out how responsive the property manager, how well the communication was with the property manager, and how clean the condo was once the guest checked in. So I couldn't be happier. I wish I had engaged with Humming Host sooner.

Performance
The results since partnering.
Since Humming Host took over the numbers really speak for themselves. They were able to push up the occupancy rate much, much higher. The daily night rate and the monthly revenue is much, much higher. They also have a very transparent fee structure. At the end of the month, you get your statement showing the revenue for the month with all the expenses, the cost associated with running the condo. And, again, I finally started seeing a real profit.

Communication
Communication you can count on.
When it comes to communication and reporting, Humming Host really nail it. Communication's super fast. If a question pops up or there's a minor issue that needs to be handled, they take care of it very, very quickly, and they promptly provide an update, which is a nice breath of fresh air compared to the previous property manager. Statements also are always on time, they're never late. They're always very transparent, and they're always very accurate. I want to mention this because with the previous property manager, more than once, it happened that I noticed double charges. And it was always frustrating to deal with their accounting department to fix those mistakes. Again, this never happened with Humming Host. Also, they don't nickel-and-dime you. You know, some property managers like to put an expense here and there and try to squeeze something out of you. Humming Host doesn't do that. It feels like a real partner. They're partnering with you to make you money. So they’re the ideal partner and I’m excited to work with them, and I and I really trust them with my unit.

What this partnership has meant.
Partnering with Humming Host was a game changer. They gave me the peace of mind that I didn't have before. No more massive statements or delayed communication, and all the headaches that come sometimes with a property manager that just doesn't care as much as you do. So it's been great. To the point that I'm actually considering buying a second property, and that's just because I have Humming Host on my side.
